Minister Hrnjić tours the Fair “List” in Lukavac

Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Kemal Hrnjić visited the 21st International Fair “List” in Lukavac.

192 exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region present their activities at the Fair “List”, which is dedicated to the promotion and development of tourism, supporting artisans and entrepreneurs and organic food producers from Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Ecology and tourism are two important economic activities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for the most part they rely on agriculture, water management and forestry, as witnessed by a large number of exhibitors at this year’s fair in Lukavac. Right after taking office as minister of agriculture, I wanted to show my support for this fair and the agricultural producers of this region,” said Minister Hrnjić, adding that rural development and tourism share many links that are worth strengthening into a single whole and offering to local and foreign markets.

“It is important that aside from producing organic food, agricultural producers also have an opportunity to promote their products. Within the model of other types of payment support, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture has provided for promotion and organization of fairs and exhibitions in order to ensure better promotion of our agricultural producers,” said Minister Hrnjić.

With his visit to the Business Fair in Mostar and today’s visit to Lukavac, Minister Hrnjić wanted to show his support to the fair exhibitors and organizers, and activities that can contribute to improving the status of agricultural producers in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The fair representatives thanked the federal minister Hrnjić and assistant minister for rural development Nijaz Brković for visiting “List”.

“We are honored to have the Minister of Agriculture visiting this year’s fair, which confirms that we need to work more on connecting the fields of ecology, tourism and agriculture,” said Izet Nuhanović, director of the international ecology and tourism fair “List”. The fair will be open to all visitors until 06th May.
