Mr. Hrnjić was appointed Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on April 28, 2023 following the act of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH approving the nomination of the new Government of the Federation of BiH.

- Active participation in coordinating the FVO (Food and Veterinary Office, European Commission), Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Veterinary Office of BiH, the Association of Dairy Industry, entity ministries of agriculture and laboratories in BiH in the implementation of food safety systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina to ensure compliance with the EU export requirements for milk and dairy products from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
