Scope of the Plant Division:

1. Participation in policy development and implementation of laws and regulations and other general acts in the field of plant production;
2. Crop protection and phytosanitary issues, application of plant protection products and mineral fertilizers;
3. Administrative tasks related to crop production
4. Agricultural land development
5. Proposing improvement and land amelioration measures
6. Issuing approvals, opinions and other acts related to plant production.

Scope:

1. Preparation of strategic frameworks for the development of livestock production;
2. Introduction of international and EU quality standards in livestock production;
3. Cooperation in development and improvement of agricultural production in livestock and fisheries;
4. Market analysis and proposing measures for livestock support;
5. Development of programs for organic livestock production;
6. Development of programs for integrated livestock production.

Scope:

1. Following up on the developments in food, beverage and tobacco production;
2. Monitoring market positions of food processing industries;
3. Preparation and implementation of food industry strategies;
4. Proposing measures for introduction of international quality standards;
5. Developing regulations setting requirements for carrying out food, beverage and tobacco production activities;
6. Participation in drafting of regulations on food, beverage and tobacco products together with other state-level and entity institutions;
7. Analyzing EU legislation, WTO requirements, principles and rules and other relevant international organizations and agreements.

Scope:

1. Preparation of strategic market price policy strategy frameworks
2. Proposing measures regarding the subsidy planning;
3. Market price policy approximation with the EU rules;
4. Cooperation with state-level authorities on market price policy
5. Cooperation with relevant cantonal and municipal authorities across Federation of BiH
6. Analyzing foreign trade environment, preparation of market price reports
7. Proposing measures to improve producer organizations and linking producers with markets
8.  Proposing loan models for agriculture financing and other measures to improve credit access;
9.  Creating market price policy measures in line with the strategy documents.
10. Monitoring the market price policy measures.
