Minister Hrnjić receives the Mayor of Bihać Elvedin Sedić

The Federal Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry Kemal Hrnjić spoke in Sarajevo with the Mayor of Bihać Elvedin Sedić and his adviser Edin Moranjkić.

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the possibilities of investing in agriculture and rural development, but also other projects important for the City of Bihać.

“We discussed with the Mayor of Bihać the current land tenure legislation and its use by agriculture producers in order to ensure its proper utilization, and the upcoming water management projects funded by the Government of the Federation of BiH. We also touched upon the “UNA” National Park as well as ways of improving road connection in the Una-Sana Canton, especially between Bihać and Bosanska Krupa,” said Minister Hrnjić, adding that the representatives of the Ministry and City of Bihać would meet the next week to elaborate on these issues.

Mayor Sedić thanked Minister Hrnjić for the opportunity to exchange ideas today and his willingness to continue having this discussion during the upcoming official visit of the Federal Ministry to the City of Bihać.

“First of all, I wanted to congratulate Minister Hrnjic on his appointment as the Federal Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry. Given his vast experience in business, I am confident that he will contribute to the improvement of agriculture in the Federation of BiH with his hard work, knowledge and energy. I believe that with our cooperation we will improve the status of our agricultural producers and processors in the city of Bihać and to this end we are planning the visit of Minister Hrnjić to increase our cooperation, ” said Mayor Sedić.
