“This company’s vision, expertise and commitment have resulted in continued investment in increasing capacity in the dairy industry, which will improve production and competitiveness on the market.

The work and development of this company was supported by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry over the last two years with more than 800,000 KM in support payments for construction, expansion and furnishing of new buildings for milk production and processing. This is the result of their commitment to developing and expanding capacities in the dairy industry, and our efforts to help companies modernize and improve their production and thus the entire dairy sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The dairy is one of the most developed industries in the Federation of BiH and employs, directly and indirectly, thousands of producers. This investment will create new jobs and stimulate the development of the local agricultural sector, providing an opportunity for growth and prosperity for our farmers and milk producers,” said Minister Hrnjić in his address.

The company Lactalis BH and its dairy Inmer are the largest exporter of milk and dairy products from BiH with 30% share in the total exports from our country. With today’s opening of the new UHT plant, production capacity of UHT milk will be further increased. In addition to this year’s investment of 2.4 million euro, a new investment of 1.3 million euro was also announced aimed at expanding the yogurt line.
