The Federal Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry Kemal Hrnjić met today with the director of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Rights Affairs Željko Obradović in Sarajevo to discuss the cooperation opportunities in geodetic data usage in agriculture, aimed in particular at improvement of control of planted areas in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and more efficient management of agricultural resources.

Director Obradović offered support in contributing to the activities that would lead to the development of software solutions to ensure quality control and monitoring of planted areas, but also stressed the need for qualified staff that would implement solutions based on the available geodetic data.

“The common goal of the established and future cooperation will be to identify the needs that could be met in the agricultural sector in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina through software solutions,” said Minister Hrnjić.
