Minister Dedić meets with BiH Veterinary Office representatives

Federal Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry Šemsudin Dedić met today with BiH Veterinary Office Director Saša Bošković. In attendance were also Office’s deputy director Pavo Radić, secretary Muamer Dervišević and advisor Ljubomir Kalaba. The Ministry’s Veterinary Assistant Minister Kenan Muratović also joined the meeting.

Director Bošković thanked the Minister for initiating the meeting, stressing the importance of activities that the Veterinary Office carries out in cooperation with the line entity Ministries.   

Director Bošković stressed that the Veterinary Office plans a range of activities in the forthcoming period to remove the obstacles to smooth operation of veterinarians and institutions closely cooperating with them, while stepping up the efforts on the EU alignment process,” said Director Bošković.

“It’s necessary to speed up the activities geared towards meeting the requirements for export of red meat to EU, as this will be the main focus of the upcoming visit by the EU FVO delegation in May this year, said Minister Dedić.
