Innovative equipment from Hungary for the Institute of Agriculture in USK

Federal Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry Šemsudin Dedić held a meeting today with H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary Krisztián Pósa.

In attendance were also the representatives of the Association for Innovative Initiatives IKE 2020 and the Institute of Agriculture of the Una-Sana Canton. Application of innovative technologies in agriculture, drones in particular, was the main focus of the meeting.

The IKE 2020 offered to donate to the Institute of Agriculture of Una-Sana Canton a most advanced drone, including training of the Institute staff and demonstration for farmers in the first half of March.    

“This cooperation between the Federal Ministry and the Embassy of Hungary in Bosnia and Herzegovina will greatly contribute to the improvement of work of the Institute of Agriculture of USK. The application of innovative technologies such as drones will significantly enhance precision in the use of plant protection products in agriculture and the environmental protection,” said Minister Dedić.
