Federal Minister Dedić with Christopher Sheldon of World Bank

Federal Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry Šemsudin Dedić met today with the World Bank Country Manager Christopher Sheldon and his associates Igor Palandžić, senior water specialist, and Samra Bajramović, operations analyst.  

They discussed the Water Services Modernization Project and the preparatory activities to be carried out before the official launch of the Project. They also focused on the WB board-approved Agriculture Resilience and Competitiveness Project and the additional financing for the regional project of the Sava and Drina Rivers Corridor Integrated Development.

Minister Dedić pointed out the importance of natural resources that our country abounds in and ensuring its efficient and sustainable management.

The World Bank representatives emphasized the successful results achieved so far in the fields of agriculture, water management and forestry and the assurance that the implementation of the new projects will contribute to further improvements of these sectors.
